Founded in 1931 by Rollin M. Severance

What started as a vision to create superior ground rotary files has grown into a legacy of precision tooling excellence. Severance Tool Industries pioneered the Midget Mill concept and continues to innovate after more than nine decades.

From our origins in Detroit to our current facility in Saginaw, Michigan, we've maintained our commitment to American craftsmanship and engineering excellence. Today, three generations of the Severance family tradition lives on in every tool we manufacture.
